This Privacy Policy explains how Vitdaa Global Resources Ltd. ("VitRide", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use the VitRide platform as a passenger, driver or logistics partner. By using VitRide you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — your name, phone number, email, password and profile photo.
Driver/partner information — vehicle details, driver's licence, NIN, proof of address, bank details and the documents you upload for verification.
Location data — your pickup and drop-off points, and live location during a trip (drivers share continuous location while online).
Trip & usage data — rides requested, fares, ratings, messages, support tickets and app activity.
Payment data — bank-transfer details you confirm in-app and payment references processed by our payment partners. We do not store full card numbers.
Device data — device model, OS, push-notification token and basic diagnostics.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and verify your account, and to match passengers with nearby drivers.
To calculate fares, process and confirm payments, and keep records of trips.
To provide safety features (sharing trip details, support, dispute handling) and send you notifications about your rides.
To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with the law.
To improve the service and provide customer support.

3. How We Share Information

We share only what is needed to provide the service:

Between passenger and driver — first name, photo, rating, vehicle details, and live location during a matched trip.
Payment partners — to verify and reconcile payments.
Logistics companies — for company-managed drivers, their company can see the driver's profile, documents and trip activity.
Legal & safety — with authorities where required by law or to protect users.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Location

Location is used to find drivers, navigate, and price trips. Drivers' location is shared while they are online or on a trip. You can disable location in your device settings, but core features will not work without it.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, safety and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

7. Your Rights

Access, correct or update your profile information in the app.
Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting support.
Opt out of non-essential notifications.

8. Children

VitRide is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
